EXCITING boxing was on display during the Bulelo Boxing Bonanza at the Ondangwa Smallpark on Friday.

The event, organised by the Bulelo Boxing Academy, saw 10 amateur bouts from various Clubs showcasing their talent.

Founder of the academy, Hedison Nghipondoka, thanked all the sponsors who made the event possible, adding that it is not easy sponsoring sports during Covid-19, yet a few companies came on board.

Chairperson of boxing in the Oshana Region, Ndishishi Haimbodi, said that all the funds generated at the event will go towards the benefit of northern boxers.

“We appreciate everybody that showed up to support the young boxers,” he said.

Haimbodi further explained that the Bulelo Boxing Academy came up with the bonanza to support boxers.
