CHRISTINE Mboma will be taking part in the Boris Hanžeković Memorial in Zagreb, Croatia tonight, where she will once again face Shericka Jackson in a much anticipated race.
Her coach, Henk Botha, said Mboma will be racing in the 200m today at 20:40 local time.
Since her European tour, Mboma’s fiercest competition has been Jamaica’s Jackson, who came in second place behind her both in Brussels and Zurich during the Diamond League.

Tonight’s lineup will also consist of Mao Hjeimer from Switzerland, Jusztina Csoti from Hungary, Zidar Maja Mihalinec from Slovenia, Veronika Drjacic from Croatia, Shashalee Forbes from Jamaica and Anthonique Strachan from Bahamas.
Botha further noted that although Beatrice Masilingi has fully recovered from a flu, it was decided that she would sit out tonight’s race in order to get more recovery time.
“Beatrice Masilingi has recovered from the flu, but is currently on a break and will only return to track later,” Botha confirmed.
Botha added that after Croatia, both Mboma and Masilingi will be heading to Kenya on 18 September, where the 18-year-old sprinters will race one last time before ending their season and returning home.
