Home Affairs increases fees

Staff Reporter

THE Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security has announced an increase in the fees it charges to provide a variety of documentation to citizens and foreigners residing in Namibia.

The ministry said in a statement that the increase will cater for amongst others the increased number of pages in the passports.

The statement said that passports will henceforth cost N$400 because the travel document will have 47 pages instead of the usual 32 and will also sport enhanced security features.

The increase will come into effect on Monday the 19th of July 2021.
