Shannon’s murder case postponed to May

Staff Reporter

THE two siblings implicated in the murder of Shannon Wasserfall briefly appeared again in the Walvis Bay Magistrate’s Court, where the matter was remanded to 31 May 2021 for further investigation.

Wasserfall, age 21, mysteriously disappeared last year in April.

Six months after her disappearance, her father received a message pointing out where her body was buried.

The police subsequently followed up and Shannon’s remains were discovered in a shallow grave, a few meters behind the Dunes Mall in Walvis Bay.

Azaan Madisia, 28, who was a close friend of Shannon was arrested after the police linked her to the anonymous text.

Her younger brother, Steven Mulundu, 21, handed himself over to the police weeks after Madisia’s arrest.

He allegedly assisted Madisia to bury the body.
