SUBSTANTIAL damage has been caused to infrastructure by floodwater flowing down the Useb River near Bahnhoff in the area of Rehoboth. The river broke its banks and flowed over the road at the river crossing. Large chunks of the road surface weres washed away. Electricity supply lines and telecommunication towers in the area were also damaged.
