TWO Zimbabwean men who operate a printing shop in Katima Mulilo have been taken into police custody after they were found in possession of fake COVID-19 laboratory test reports.
According to the Namibian police weekend incident report, the two men, ages 28 and 45, are suspected of supplying people with fake test results for travelling purposes.
It was also discovered that the suspects are operating in Namibia without valid work permits.
The two were arrested on Saturday, 9 January, at about 12:00 and charged with contravening the Public and Environmental Health Act, Act of 2015, as well as the General Regulation Sec 28(1)(b)(c) 28 (2) Immigration Control Act, Act 7.
Police investigations continue.
