NAMIBIANS has arrived at polling stations to cast their votes for the Regional Council and Local Authority elections.
The voting process started at 07:00 and will end at 21:00. People already waiting in line when polling stations close, will still be allowed to cast their vote. Those that arrive in line after 21:00 will not be able to make their mark in this year’s election.
At the Mayor’s Park polling station in Ongwediva, more than 60 people have already voted in the first two hours of the process.

According to presiding officer Ruusa Immanuel, the process has kicked off smoothly.
The presiding officer at the Mweshipandeka polling station, Helaria Shaangeni also indicated that the process is going well.
