Remember your voters’ card

Staff Reporter

PEOPLE intent on casting their vote in the Presidential and National Assembly elections in a few hours’ time are reminded to take along their voters’ cards in order to avoid being denied the privilege to make their voice heard.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia provided a list of polling stations for the convenience of the electorate. People can peruse the list to see which polling station is closest to them when they go to cast their vote for the party and candidate of their choice
To access and view the list of all the polling stations please click or tap on the link.

Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) will be used during the Presidential and National Assembly Elections. The EVM is easy to use since the voter is required to press only two buttons: the green button that corresponds to the party or candidate of his/her choice and the red button to confirm that choice.

Voters should be aware that they will use one machine to vote for the party of their choice and second machine to vote for the presidential candidate of their choice.
