Young scientists will represent Namibia on global stage

FIVE Grade 11 Learners from Delta Secondary School in Windhoek will represent Team Namibia at the 2019 First Global Challenge in Dubai.
To fulfil their dream, the team will need generous sponsorship to travel to Dubai for the competition.
The annual international robotic challenge aims to ignite a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), amongst the more than two billion youths from around the world.
Since 2017, Namibia has been part of this highly anticipated competition where Namibia scooped the 52nd place in a group of 163 countries. In 2018, a group of 192 Countries took part and Namibia landed at the 65th place.
To make their dreams come true to represent Namibia in this highly ranked competition, which is to take place in October, the team appeals to the public for financial assistance. An amount of approximately N$150 000 is needed to make the trip to Dubai a reality.
