Criminals will be dealt with severely

DESPIE some operational challenges faced during the execution of joint crime fighting operations Hornkranz and Kalahari Desert, the Inspector-General of the Namibian Police, Lieutenant General Sebastian Ndeitunga, said that the joint forces will flush out all criminals. and send them to hell.
General Ndeitunga made the remarks during the official opening of the 24th police annual sports championship held in Oshakati.

Ndeitunga said, these joint crime fighting operations have so far achieved the intended objectives.
He said that the police will carry on with operations of this kind whenever and wherever it is necessary to ensure that criminals have nowhere to hide in the country.
“I urge all law abiding members of our communities to continue with the spirit of patriotism and work tirelessly and hand-in-hand with the law enforcement agents in combating crime and maintaining law and order,” added Ndeitunga.
He stated that it is the only way to ensure a safer Namibia for all and not to let crime destroy the moral fabric of the society and the hard won freedom.
“We must not allow citizen of this peaceful land of the brave to be threatened and terrorized by criminals who rob and murder defenseless people,” cited Ndeitunga.
Ndeitunga noted that the members of the force are the hope and inspiration of the country and the pillars of the fight against crime. He urged them to remain committed, patriotic and loyal to the country.
The 24th Annual Sports Championship are being held under the theme “A force united through sport”.
The regions participating in the event are Kunene, Omusati, Oshikoto, Kavango East, Erongo, Otjozondjupa, Omaheke, Khomas, Hardap, ǁKaras and Oshana are partaking in the championship. Meanwhile Ohangwena, Kavango West and Zambezi Regions will miss out this year’s annual sports championship.
A parade inspection by General Ndeitunga and president of the Namibian Police Force Sports Council, accompanied by Commissioner Monaliza Molebugi, the Head of Training and development directorate and chairperson of the Namibian Police Force Sports Council.
