THE West African derby between Ghana and Benin ended in a draw after each of the teams scored two goals. The Black Stars drew ahead in the first half and was leading 2 -1 at half time. Benin scored the equaliser about halfway through the second half. Extra time was added to the match, but none of the teams managed to score the winning goal.
