PRESIDENT Hage Geingob has given Gabrielle Lubowski until 26 June to execute an unconditional apology and retraction for the remarks she made against him with regards to her husband, Anton Lubowskis death in 1989.
Gabrielle’s apology was rejected by Geingob. According to her, the open letter was in a draft form and was in no way intended for the public. She says the letter was misinterpreted.
In a letter addressed to her this afternoon by President Geingob’s lawyer Sisa Namandje, the President is demanding that Gabrielle gives an ambiguous retraction and an unconditional apology ‘by close of business tomorrow, Wednesday’.
“We have therefore been instructed to place you on notice that your response has been rejected and in the absence of an unambiguous retraction and unconditional apology we will proceed with legal action without further warning” Namandje wrote.
