Sports Reporter
With three matches resulting in three losses at the 2019 Cricket World Cup, the South African team will look to clinch their first victory against West Indies in the their fourth match of the tournament in South Hampton.
The Proteas needs to win every game from this point on to stand any chance of making it to the semi-final stage of the tournament.
After going down against England and then Bangladesh, the Proteas were overpowered by India in their last encounter.
The men from the West Indies will go into the contest after enduring a 15-run defeat against defending champions Australia last week. The Windies side started their World Cup campaign by securing a thumping 7-wicket win over Pakistan and will also be looking for some redemption with a victory against the Proteas.
The match is scheduled to start at The Rose Bowl in Southampton in about an hour.
