DESPITE a devastating opening match when they went down to West Indies in their first 2019 Cricket World Cup 2019 clash, Pakistan will be riding high on confidence when they take on Sri Lanka in Bristol.
Pakistan stunned favourites England, who had the home advantage, by 14 runs in a high-scoring contest at Trent Bridge to get their campaign back on track.
Victory over the host nation helped to settle the nerves in the Pakistan camp.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka has made a similarly patchy start, capitulating to New Zealand.
Their thrilling victory over Afghanistan however, put the Sri Lankan campaign back on track again.
