Namibia beaten by Argentina in Uruguay

The Namibian rugby team lost its opening match 25-39 against Argentina during their opening match at the World Rugby Nations Cup at the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Argentina XV were able to win by a comfortable margin after the match got off to a slow start.
They were trailing the Namibians before scoring on the stroke of half-time to level the scores at 12-12 at the midway stage.
The sluggish start saw Namibia hooker, Obert Nortje who crossed for an unconverted try in the 18th minute scoring the only points of the opening quarter.
The Argentina XV’ opened their account in the 27th minute with veteran winger Manuel Montero going over the try line.
The equal scoreline would be temporary as Namibia struck back via Oderich Mouton. His try was converted by Cliven Loubser to hand Namibia the half-time advantage. However with the Argentina XV camped on the Namibian try line they again drew the score level at 12-12 when the when they scored a penalty shortly before the whistle blew.
A try by Namibia’s JC Greyling in the second half, jump started the Argentineans who went on the rampage and scored three more tries to end the match with the 39 – 25 winning score.
Namibia will play against host nation Uruguay on Sunday 9 June.
