Namibia races for top spot in ICC U19 tournament

THE Namibian Under 19 Cricket Team is right in the thick of things after registering two consecutive wins to go second place in the table standing for a chance to qualify for the ICC Under 19 World Cup.
The team is currently competing with other African countries at the ongoing ICC under 19 Africa Cricket championship games taking place in Windhoek.
The under 19 team have registered four points on the table standing with two wins and one loss to its name in second place with Nigeria occupying top spot.
The team played against Tanzania on Monday where it won by 250 runs with Ramon Wilmot taking home the man of the match award.
They then faced Sierra Leone where host nation, Namibia won by 184 runs.
The tournament kicked off on 5 March 2019 and will end 24 March.
