Water shortage hits Windhoek again

Samuel Shinedima & Marthina Mutanga

RESIDENTS of Windhoek are facing yet another challenge of water scarcity following a recent report by NamWater detailing the organisation’s challenges to meet the Capital’s water demand. The national water supply company, which under normal circumstances contributes 70% of the water supply to the city, is only able to provide 35% of the water supply, leaving the residents of Windhoek concerned. City of Windhoek Corporate Communications officer, Lydia Amutenya, shares the way forward with Informanté News.
