He stated that OATF also provides people with the opportunity to showcase culture, tradition and values as part of people’s identity.
According to Andjaba events such as OATF are critical as they provide an opportunity for towns to market and showcase their developmental and investment opportunities.
Furthermore, he noted that these platforms also provide Small Medium Enterprises and investors at different levels with the necessary exposure that would allow them to identify the economic potential of the towns and the prospective areas of investment.
Andjaba urged the business community and all stakeholders to continue meeting the Council halfway in its efforts to bring development and economic prosperity to the town.
He called upon business community, especially the SMEs to be more pro-active and take full advantage of the conducive business climate created by the government.
Oshipe is derived from the Oshiwambo culture where after every harvest, people come together around this time of the year to appreciate and celebrate the new harvest.
This year a total of 73 exhibition stalls has been registered compared to 80 of last year’s event.
