Stage set in Japan for spectacular Rugby World Cup

MILLIONS of rugby fans from all over the world are ready to watch the opening match of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan where the host nation will take on Russia in the Tokyo Stadium.
Rugby action for the weekend is set with a mini final on Saturday where rugby giants New Zealand and South Africa will meet for their opening match of the tournament.
Australia will tackle Fiji to kick off their campaign while France and Argentina will also play their maiden match of the tournament.
The Namibian National Team will open their 2019 Rugby World Cup campaign against Italy early on Sunday morning.
On the eve of the ninth Rugby World Cup Tournament World Rugby Chairman Sir Bill Beaumont said: “The waiting is over, and the stage is set for what promises to be a very special Rugby World Cup. It all begins with a spectacular opening ceremony and our advice to fans is; take your seats early and enjoy the show before the hosts Japan get the tournament underway against Russia.”
The opening ceremony will start at 11:30 local time while the opening match between Japan and Russia at Tokyo Stadium will kicks-off at 12:45.
Saturday’s action packed matches will start at 06:45 when the Ausies will tackle the Fijians. Two and a half hours later the French will take on the Argentinians at 09:15.
The mini final between the Kiwis and the South Africans will start at 11:45.
Kick off time for the match between in Namibia and Italy is set for Sunday morning 07:15.
Namibian rugby fans will be able to catch all the action live on DStv’s SuperSport channels.
