A ZAMBIAN long distance truck driver is fighting tooth and nail for the safe return of his younger brother who mysteriously disappeared on two days ago.
Frederick Boogie told Informanté that he and his brother, Peter Cardoso arrived in Walvis Bay on Saturday evening where after they parked their truck where they wait to offload their cargo.
“He woke up in the middle of the night on Monday to relieve himself. He came back to sleep but a while later went out again but this time he took long and I got suspicious so I went outside and asked the security guard who informed me Cardoso went to the shops,” Boogie said.
Cardoso had left his passport, ID and wallet when he disappeared. The police in Erongo region, together with the Marshall Rangers is spearheading the search and a request went out to the public to assist in tracking down the missing boy.
The missing boy is described as light skinned, slender and of average build and height. This is Cardoso’s first time in Namibia.
“We received information today that someone who looks like him was spotted at Long Beach between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. I have sent Marshal Rangers there to confirm,” Sean Naude said.
