AN urgent application challenging the installation of Fillemon Shuumbwa Nangolo as new king of the Ondonga Traditional Community is to be heard in the Windhoek High Court this morning.
The court case follows after Government approved Nangolo’s application as heir to late King Immanuel Kauluma Elifas’ throne.
His official installation is scheduled to take place at Onambango near Ondangwa this Saturday.
The other throne claimant Konis Eino Kalenga is challenging the government’s decision.
The respondents are Urban and Rural development Minister Peya Mushelenga, Oshana governor Elia Irimari, president Hage Geingob and six others including Attorney General Albert Kawana.
