FORMER learners of the Onamahoka Combined School in Ohangwena donated 12 computers worth N$50 922 to the current learners.
Officially handing over the computers on Friday, Joseph Nakalemo, said that the computers will be used in the school computer lab, in order to ensure that learners are up to date with technology.
Nakalemo said that the money was raised through contributions made from former school graduates.
He added that the donation was done by several former graduates and not everything from one person.
“The school community too contributed a bit because we hosted braai as well as a fund raising project. We raised our own money actually till it reached the N$52 000 mark,” he cited.
He said that the former learners aim to eventually donate 35 computes.
