A TOTAL of 82 soccer coaches from different teams in Omusati and Oshana regions will move from the pitch to the classroom for a coaching course that is accredited by the Namibia Football Association (NFA).
The coaches registered for the first ever Omusati introductory coaching course that is expected to conclude before the 31st of October this year.
Spokesperson of the Omusati NFA Executive Committee, Alexander Itumba, said that a total of 79 coaches are from the Omusati schools and teams, while three came from Oshana.
“The coaching course is good for head coaches and assistant coaches and Omusati will be hosting a coaching training course for the very first time,” said Itumba.
According to Itumba, they recorded a high number of participants and the trainees will be divided into two groups.
The groups will be determined by the proof of payment.
“The group will be determined by depositing your payment into the account and participants should keep their proof of payment safe because no one will be allowed in the course without proof of payment,” said Itumba.
He stated that participants are divided in two groups. The first group will be trained from 21 to 25 October, while the second will be trained from 26 to 30 October.
