“It is alleged that the guard was pointed with a pistol by one suspect while three of his companions tied his legs and arms together with a rope before they went on to break into the fish shop,” said Thomas Aiyambo of the Oshana Regional Police Public Region Division.

Aiyambo stated that the suspects stole a scale valued at N$17 000, N$1 100 in cash, a fan worth N$389.95 and a Wi-Fi box of which the value is unknown

“The security guard was unable to provide investigating officers with a description of the suspects. He was also unable to tell detectives what kind of car the suspects used as a getaway vehicle,” he said, adding that a case of robbery with aggravating circumstances was registered which is currently under investigation.
