NDF Chief bedridden

Marthina Mutanga

CHIEF of the Namibian Defence Force (NDF), Lieutenant General John Mutwa, is currently bedridden and unable to fulfill all this obligations.

This came to light when information from his office regarding the illegal occupation of Farm Etiro was instead disseminated by Vice Marshal Martin Penehas.

When probed about Mutwa’s clear absence form office, NDF Acting Public Relations Officer, Major Petrus Shilumbu, only said that the matter is too personal and as such, the ministry will not be entertaining questions regarding the chief’s health.

The 58-year-old Mutwa took over the reins from Lieutenant General Denga Ndaitwah in December 2013.
