Nationhood Lets Baby See

With the assistance of various fundraisers by all sectors of Namibian society, the three year old baby girl, Mariana Grobler is one of only four people in the world known to suffer from Peters Anomaly Syndrome (PAS), a rare eye disease, had her sight partially restored in the United States of America and can now see for the first time, shortly before her third birthday on 19 February.
Samuel S. Shinedima captured the result of Namibian solidarity, the gratitude of the parents and the brave journey of the baby for Informanté.
