THE Namibia Football Association (NFA) has called up twenty-three players to prepare for the 2020 CHAN qualifiers final round second leg against Madagascar that would require the Brave warriors to win the match by a 2-0 aggregate.
The match will take place on 19 October at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek.
Namibia lost in the first leg away match after conceding the final minutes of the game to give Madagascar an advantage.
NFA released a statement today where it stated that the 23 players are expected to kick off with training as from next week.
“These players must report at the NFA Technical Centre on Monday, 7 October 2019, at 16h00 for training,” reads the statement.
The 23 men squad consists of: Ratanda Mbazuvara, Charles Uirab, Kamaijanda Ndisiro, Calvin Spegiel, Pat-Nevin Uanivi, Ivan Kamberipa, Obrey Amseb, Marcel Papama, Gustav Isaak, Larry Horaeb, Aprocious Petrus, Immanuel Heita, Dynamo Fredericks, Wangu Gome, Vitapi Ngaruka, Emilio Martin, Wendell Rudath, Llewelyn Stanley, Absalom Iimbondi, Gregory Aukumeb, Panduleni Nekundi, Elmo Kambindu and Mapenzi Muwanei.
