RESIDENTS of Okakarara in the central north east of Namibia was surprised by a strong rain shower while farmers in the vicinity of Koës in the south woke up earlier on Sunday to the countryside covered in ice after a hailstorm went through the area during the previous night.
Parts of the Otjozondjupa, Omaheke and Hardap region also received good rain. Farmers in the vicinity Epukiro, Kalkfeld, Steinhuzen and Gobabis in eastern Namibia reported that some rain fell in the area. To the west Otjiwarongo, Outjo and Khorixas also received some rain.
