THE Namibian men’s hockey team is out of contention for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after losing their second match in the row with 3 – 1 against Ghana.

After suffering a 3 – 1 loss in their first game, the Namibian team needed a good result to stand a chance in qualifying for the 2020 Olympics as well as the 2023 Commonwealth games.
They are currently at the bottom of the six-nation log standing with zero points with four more games to go.
Despite creating several chances, Namibia failed to capitalize on them leaving Ghanaian captain Salya Nsabini to be the hero of the day, scoring all three goals for his team.
Namibia will face Egypt in their third match.
