A MEMBER of the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC), Petrina Nghipudilo Ya Shiindi\u2019s accusations against Josef Andreas have continued unabated, declaring that she is not afraid of meeting comrades in \u201cSWAPO-led courts\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The comment comes from a social media post by Ya Shiindi published on 8 August 2026, two days before the court appearance of Ya Shiindi, wherein she is being sued by businessman Andreas for defamation of character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Andreas is demanding a payment of N$250 000.00, as well as a public apology for comments Ya Shiindi had published about Andreas on her Facebook account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the particulars of claim, Andreas claims that Ya Shiindi directed defamatory remarks towards him between March and May 2026, alleging that he is a corrupt criminal involved in state capture and the \u201cFishrot\u201d corruption scandal, and that he is a dishonest person or a liar who defrauds the State and misleads his own legal counsel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the initiation of the court case against her, Ya Shiindi again hit back at Andreas on Saturday, 8 August 2026, and published yet another post which reads: \u201cCOMRADE Josef Andreas, as we prepare to meet in court, I am currently in Walvis Bay and just passed by Gendev Fishing Group, a politically owned company where you serve as the deputy chairman. I am here with the employees who are currently camping outside Gendev\u2019s gates. They tell me they have been there for some time now and, interestingly, your name keeps coming up in almost every conversation I have with them. Anyway, see you soon in court ashike!!! I am not afraid of meeting comrades in those SWAPO-led courts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his court application, Andreas seeks a court order that will stop Ya Shiindi from publishing alleged defamatory commentary against him, and further that she make a public apology and pay an amount of N$250 000.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another matter, Ya Shiindi is also being sued by High Court acting judge Gladice Pickering for N$250 000.00 after she accused Pickering of alleged corruption during the time she served as executive director of the Ministry of Justice, and alleged that she handpicked a company owned by her husband for renovations of the Ministry of Justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
