{"id":398958,"date":"2026-08-08T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-08-08T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=398958"},"modified":"2026-08-07T20:37:16","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T18:37:16","slug":"august-26-logistics-extends-compassionate-support-to-the-family-of-late-romin-tsuses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=398958","title":{"rendered":"August 26 Logistics extends compassionate support to the family of late Romin Tsuses"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staff Reporter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">THE late Romin Tsuses, a five-year-old girl from Sweet Valley, Okahandja, who tragically passed away on 22 July 2026 after suffering what is believed to be severe malnutrition, was laid to rest today in Okahandja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Days before the burial, August 26 Logistics, a subsidiary of the August 26 Group of Companies, provided humanitarian assistance to the Tsuses family by donating groceries and other essential household items to help ease their burden during a difficult time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The donation forms part of the company&#8217;s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, which seeks to support vulnerable individuals, families and communities across Namibia. As the August 26 Group of Companies, we believe that corporate responsibility goes beyond business. It is about standing with communities, showing compassion and offering support during their most difficult moments. While no act can erase the pain of losing a loved one, we hope our assistance brought some comfort to the Tsuses family during this difficult time,&#8221; said Tomas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">August 26 Logistics remains committed to creating a meaningful social impact through initiatives that promote dignity, care and hope.
