These rapid advances are making it hard for the general public to keep up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For that reason, the Harold Pupkewitz Graduate School of Business (HP-GSB) at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) has scheduled a free public lecture on \u201cAI in Finance\u201d to take place at the HP-GSB in Windhoek on Wednesday evening. Organisers say it will be a hands-on session where attendees will learn, interact, and experiment with practical AI tools already reshaping decision-making, data analysis, and forecasting across industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;AI is no longer a future trend for finance. It is today\u2019s operating system,&#8221; HP-GSB said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lecture is scheduled for Wednesday from 17:30 to 19:30. It will unpack how the technology is driving innovation, cutting analysis time from days to minutes, and creating new career paths for those who know how to use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attendance is free and available both in person and virtually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organisers say participants attending in person must bring a laptop, while online attendees should ensure they have a strong, stable internet connection to join live exercises and interactive demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PICTURED: Guest Speaker, Dr. Edgars Volskis.
