{"id":390917,"date":"2026-03-03T19:15:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T17:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=390917"},"modified":"2026-03-03T17:19:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T15:19:49","slug":"independence-day-celebrations-to-be-held-across-all-14-regions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=390917","title":{"rendered":"Independence Day celebrations to be held across all 14 regions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staff Reporter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The official commemoration of the 36th Independence Day will be held across all regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOn behalf of Her Excellency, the President, Dr Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, I wish to inform the nation that this year\u2019s official Independence Day celebrations will be marked across all our 14 regions,\u201d the Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video height=\"348\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 640 \/ 348;\" width=\"640\" controls src=\"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/WhatsApp-Video-2026-03-03-at-14.44.16.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She confirmed that the theme for this year remains \u201cBeyond 35 for a Prosperous Future\u201d and noted that the National Preparatory Committee is already working closely with regional governors to finalise preparations for the celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe anticipate celebrating this year\u2019s festivities in a united and inclusive way, and therefore all the specific regional events and their logistical arrangements will be communicated by your respective governors in each region.
