This year, the day is observed under the theme \u201cYouth Voices on Multilingual Education\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe day was first observed globally in February 2000, established to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism, recognising that language is not merely a tool of communication but a vessel of identity, tradition, and collective memory,\u201d the ministry explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Namibia, the event is being observed over two days. The first day focused on learners from the Oshikoto Region, bringing together students and members of the San community, including the !Kh\u00fbn, Hai\/\/om and Ju\u2019hoansi, among others. The second day will extend the festivities to include broader community participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video
