She stressed that Namibia is repositioning itself from being merely an extractive resource economy to becoming a strategic partner in industrialisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, Gaudentia Kr\u00f6hne, outlined Namibia\u2019s investment proposition, highlighting policy certainty, regulatory stability and institutional credibility as key factors that make the country investor-ready. She said Namibia is committed to moving beyond raw mineral exports through beneficiation and value addition, promoting local processing and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kr\u00f6hne said that Namibia plays a strategic role in the global energy transition as the world\u2019s third-largest uranium producer, while also being endowed with critical minerals such as lithium, rare earth elements and copper. She said the country aims to leverage uranium and renewable energy resources to position itself as an integrated industrial hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mining remains a cornerstone of Namibia\u2019s economy, contributing to growth, employment and exports.
