{"id":389286,"date":"2026-02-09T21:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=389286"},"modified":"2026-02-09T20:14:33","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T18:14:33","slug":"nakanduungiles-bail-application-postponed-charge-sheet-amended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=389286","title":{"rendered":"Nakanduungile&#8217;s bail application postponed, charge sheet amended"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staff Reporter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OTJIWARONGO-BASED magistrate Billy Lutuka did not turn up at Ondangwa where the bail application of medical doctor Fillemon Nakanduungile was scheduled for a ruling today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case has been postponed to Monday next week, and Nakanduungile&#8217;s attempted murder charge was changed to murder following the death of state prosecutor Justine Shiweda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shiweda was shot, attacked with an acidic substance, and her vehicle damaged by a group of people in October last year. She had been under intensive medical care until Saturday, when she succumbed to her wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nakanduungile, who is remanded in custody at Grootfontein, is accused together with several others, namely: former police officer Abner Mateus, Police Sergeant Mateus Shipingana, Petrus Uusiku, Selma Bahn, Johannes Nghilifavali, Petrus Shikwaya, and Lukas Nekwiyu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, a state prosecutor informed the court that the unavailability of the magistrate has to do with unpaid subsistence and travel allowances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photo: File<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter OTJIWARONGO-BASED magistrate Billy Lutuka did not turn up at Ondangwa where the bail application of medical doctor Fillemon Nakanduungile was scheduled for a ruling today.
