Okahandja and surrounding areas in the Otjozondjupa Region also saw consistent rainfall, recording around 20mm of rain at the beginning of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 960 \/ 720;\" width=\"960\" controls src=\"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Multiple-regions-see-continued-rain-more-showers-expected-Made-with-Clipchamp-smaller.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photos and videos: Facebook (Monika Klose; Carlo-Shuttle van der Merwe; Anelle Ludik).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, in the south, Mariental&#8217;s streets were flooded on Monday following a sudden thunderstorm. The aftermath was documented in videos and photos shared by Facebook user Monika Klose, showing vehicles making their way through the flooded streets of the southern town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the north, showers persisted throughout the week, including in Eunda, in the Omusati Region, which recorded 22mm on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Erongo Region also experienced continued showers, with areas like Usakos and Omaruru recording between 16mm and 18mm of rain from Monday to Tuesday morning. This followed Omaruru&#8217;s earlier recording of about 24mm of rain the previous day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More showers are expected today.
