The enhanced filtration process is also expected to significantly reduce turbidity, resulting in improved water quality reaching consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure continuity of supply, two new filter pump sets have been installed in a configuration that allows one unit to operate while the other remains on standby. This arrangement is designed to minimise disruptions in the event of mechanical failure or maintenance requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NamWater said the intervention serves as an interim solution while construction of the new Outapi Water Treatment Plant is ongoing.
