AN 83-YEAR-OLD man was robbed in his home in Swakopmund this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the police, the victim, who lives alone, heard a knock on his garage door, and once he opened it, he was overpowered by five men. The suspects allegedly grabbed the victim and dragged him upstairs, where they tied him to a chair using shoelaces. They then reportedly demanded money and searched the house for valuable items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It is further alleged that the suspects stole a revolver with ammunition, machinery, meat, wine, jewellery, two television sets, and N$1,200 in cash before fleeing the scene in a getaway car, a red Polo,” the police revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
