PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah welcomed a delegation from the European Union (EU) Commission, describing the meeting as a reflection of the strong and constructive partnership between Namibia and the EU, and emphasising the need to further strengthen bilateral ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said that Namibia is actively developing its green energy and oil sectors and expressed the country\u2019s openness to collaborate with the EU in these areas to achieve tangible and positive outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jozef Sikela, highlighted the strategic nature of relations between the EU and Namibia, pointing to their shared focus on human development, economic growth, and job creation. He added that the EU is committed to supporting Namibia through enhanced access to European markets, promotion of vocational training, and backing of the country\u2019s green hydrogen agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
