Malima is alleged to have fled the country after being implicated in money laundering and fraud charges, after his entity, Eco Trading, received over N$9 million from the alleged proceeds of crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enercon Namibia Pty Ltd is accused of defrauding the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) after it fraudulently sold nine service stations to Namcor, which had already been encumbered in a nine-year agreement with MOD and Enercon. From the N$53 million received by Enercon, a total of N$9.5 million was sent to Malima\u2019s entity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs we speak, we received information regarding the applicant and his involvement with Mr. Simaneka. It is a lead that we are still trying to follow up. Without divulging a lot of information, this information was received on Monday, when a source visited the ACC regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Simaneka and the actions that transpired shortly before Mr. Nandago was arrested,\u201d Inambao said.
