This training programme will run for the next three years and is intended to produce 450 graduates in various fields ranging from dental therapy, medical engineering, dental technology, optometry, dietetics, audiology, speech and language therapy, medical physics, clinical technology, to mention but a few,\u201d Luvindao said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She revealed that the ministry received 120 applications countrywide, from which a Pre-Selection Committee reviewed all applications and chose the 52 beneficiaries based on academic merit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAll the scholarship beneficiaries will be required to sign bonding agreements with the Ministry of Health and Social Services, whereby you will be required to return, upon successful completion of studies, to serve the Ministry wherever the need is, in the profession for which you were sponsored,\u201d the Minister added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter THE Ministry of Health and Social Services has awarded scholarships to 52 undergraduate students pursuing studies in various health-related fields.
