Following a meeting with the contractor and project team, it was decided to postpone the work for one week. The interruption is essential to complete the final stages of the Collector 2-Collector 1 pipeline replacement project, a critical upgrade to improve long-term water supply reliability in the region,\u201d Lot Ndamanomhata, Public Relations Officer at NamWater, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that during this period, there will be restricted water flows due to essential connections on the Fehlmann N and E supply lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWater from the Swartbank source will be limited, though NamWater will attempt to increase flows from Dorop South. However, some limitations may still occur. NamWater and the contractor are working diligently to minimise the duration of the interruption and aim to finish ahead of schedule if possible. Efforts are being made to fill the Mile 7 and Schwarzekuppe reservoirs to reduce the impact of supply restriction.
