Rogerdeltry Kambatuku, NSSU\u2019s National Coordinator, revealed that the team, comprising six girls and six boys, was selected during the National Athletics Championships held in Windhoek from 10 to 12 May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"723\" src=\"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NSSU-sends-12-athletes-to-Bahrain-for-2024-International-School-Sport-Federation-Competition-1024x723.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-364823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NSSU-sends-12-athletes-to-Bahrain-for-2024-International-School-Sport-Federation-Competition-1024x723.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NSSU-sends-12-athletes-to-Bahrain-for-2024-International-School-Sport-Federation-Competition-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NSSU-sends-12-athletes-to-Bahrain-for-2024-International-School-Sport-Federation-Competition-768x543.jpg 768w, https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NSSU-sends-12-athletes-to-Bahrain-for-2024-International-School-Sport-Federation-Competition-425x300.jpg 425w, https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NSSU-sends-12-athletes-to-Bahrain-for-2024-International-School-Sport-Federation-Competition-269x190.jpg 269w, https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NSSU-sends-12-athletes-to-Bahrain-for-2024-International-School-Sport-Federation-Competition-150x105.jpg 150w, https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NSSU-sends-12-athletes-to-Bahrain-for-2024-International-School-Sport-Federation-Competition.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: Contributed<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He revealed that the six girls are Leena Ekandjo, Linda Ndemuta Hailulu, Kazaatjo Kambiri, Diana Valendelwa Kosmos, Liezel Mwiza Munyaza, and Alexandra Veronique Scheepers, while the six boys are Delano Apollus, Etienne Lombaard, Martin Nghililewanga, William Bartlo Van Wyk, Burger Wilhelm Oelofsen, and Lodewikus L\u2019Wyk Viljoen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis will be the third time that Namibia, under the banner of the NSSU, will participate in the ISF Gymnasiade after competing in the inaugural edition in Belgrade, Serbia, in 2021 and the U\/15 Gymnasiade in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last year (2023),\u201d Kambatuku explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He confirmed that the team will be accompanied by seven officials this year: Teofilus Nuugulu, Head of Delegation; Ngatunuevi Matundu, Deputy Head of Delegation; Liebhardt Mogotsi, Coach; Royal Sanyambe, Boys\u2019 Team Manager; Ilona Tuaandi, Girls\u2019 Team Manager; Donatha Ngunovandu, Team Medic; and Sakaria Mwaal, Safeguarding Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe 2024 ISF Gymnasiade represents more than just a competition. It is a convergence of youth, talent, and the spirit of international cooperation as athletes compete in 26 different sports codes.
