{"id":364144,"date":"2024-10-11T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=364144"},"modified":"2024-10-10T17:41:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-10T15:41:56","slug":"man-commits-suicide-following-stabbing-incident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=364144","title":{"rendered":"Man commits suicide following stabbing incident"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maria David<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 20-YEAR-OLD man allegedly committed suicide just hours after reportedly stabbing an unidentified person at Ohailulu Village in the Oshakati area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deceased has been identified as Naftal Nanghalikoshi Hangula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oshana Crime Investigation Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Frederick Ndjadila, said the incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ndjadila indicated that the deceased hanged himself with a piece of rope, which he tied around his neck and secured to the branch of a tree in their mahangu field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The deceased was discovered by a passerby on their way to work,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ndjadila further said that the deceased had been involved in a fight the previous night at Omavela Cuca Shops, where he stabbed a victim with a knife.
