{"id":358403,"date":"2024-05-30T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-29T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=358403"},"modified":"2024-05-29T17:28:34","modified_gmt":"2024-05-29T15:28:34","slug":"boy-nine-drowns-after-trying-to-fetch-water-in-pond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=358403","title":{"rendered":"Boy, nine, drowns after trying to fetch water in pond"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staff Reporter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy, identified as Mario Ilenikuye Mumbala from Okadhiya Koshumba village in the Omusati region, drowned while trying to fetch water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, Crime Investigations Coordinator in the Omusati region, the unnatural death incident happened on Tuesday, 28 May 2024, at about 19:00 in Okadhiya Koshumba village, Elim constituency, Omusati region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It is alleged that the deceased fell in a water pond while trying to fetch water and he drowned,&#8221; Simaho said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that the next of kin were informed, and the deceased&#8217;s body was transported to Okahao Police Mortuary for a postmortem to determine the real cause of death.
