As they approached the hotel, a vehicle with three men came by. The assailants jumped out of the vehicle, pushed the victim&#8217;s 61-year-old wife, and took her small wallet with cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;They then allegedly forced the victim&#8217;s 56-year-old husband into their vehicle and drove off as the hotel guard ran towards them,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that it was further reported that a black Honda Fits with a fake registration number was seen dropping the victims in Mondesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The husband sustained visible injuries on the forehead, left eye, and on his left arm, but he is stable. The wife did not sustain any injuries,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shapumba said the unknown suspects stole N$800, 150 Euros, credit cards, identity cards, one Nikon camera, one Canon camera, two Samsung cellphones, one blue watch, one pair of spectacles, and a gold ring, all valued at N$95,280.11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that no recovery of stolen items has been made yet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maria David AN Italian couple was allegedly robbed and assaulted while walking towards their hotel in Swakopmund on Monday.
