{"id":353257,"date":"2024-01-05T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-05T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=353257"},"modified":"2024-01-05T12:00:52","modified_gmt":"2024-01-05T10:00:52","slug":"15-survived-road-crash-in-oshikoto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=353257","title":{"rendered":"15 survived road crash in Oshikoto"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maria David<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A BUS driver and his passengers sustained minor injuries after the vehicle in which they were travelling hit a cow on the Omuthiya-Oshivelo B1 road, 20 km from Omuthiya to Oshivelo at Omutsegonime village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oshikoto Regional Commander Commissioner Teopolina Kalompo-Nashikaku said the incident occurred around 11:00 on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt is alleged that the Toyota Quantum, white in colour with Walvis Bay registration, was travelling from Onayena to Walvis Bay with 15 passengers, and at Omutsegonime, the bus then bumped into a cow crossing the road, lost control, and further bumped into a tree,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She added that only minor injuries were sustained by the passengers, and they were all attended to by Omuthiya District Hospital paramedics and the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kalompo-Nashikaku indicated that the bus sustained multiple front damages, and the cow died on the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She added that the driver, a 52-year-old man, has a valid driver&#8217;s license.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maria David A BUS driver and his passengers sustained minor injuries after the vehicle in which they were travelling hit a cow on the Omuthiya-Oshivelo B1 road, 20 km from Omuthiya to Oshivelo at Omutsegonime village.
