Ohangwena region and members of the public marched in Eenhana as part of an awareness campaign for the regional activation of the National Symbols Campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign was officially activated by the Minister of Information, Communication, and Technology, Peya Mushelenga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mushelenga emphasized that National Symbols should serve as a reminder of their shared identity, aspirations, and ideals for a united and prosperous Namibia for to instill a sense of patriotism among citizens, a value that has existed for over 2000 years. He stressed that it&#8217;s not just about flags and anthems; it&#8217;s about fostering unity, embracing diversity, and working together towards a brighter future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Let us seize this opportunity to activate the power of our national symbols, igniting the flames of unity in the Ohangwena Region and spreading throughout Namibia,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mushelenga indicated that ultimately, the National Symbols Campaign serves as a vehicle for transforming themselves into a greater Namibian nation.
