{"id":330467,"date":"2022-11-24T06:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-24T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=330467"},"modified":"2022-11-23T17:21:30","modified_gmt":"2022-11-23T15:21:30","slug":"catholic-cleric-passes-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=330467","title":{"rendered":"Catholic cleric passes on"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter<\/p>\n<p>THE Windhoek archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) has announced the death of one of their longest serving clerics, Deacon Desiderius Amayulu, who passed on Monday aged 76.<\/p>\n<p>According to an announcement by Archbishop Liborius Ndumbukuti Nashenda, Deacon Amayulu died in a private hospital at Ongwediva.<br>He was ordained a permanent Deacon for the Okatana pastoral region 37 years ago and served particularly the Ongwediva parish till his retirement a few years ago.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"686\" src=\"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Catholic-cleric-passes-on.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-330470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Catholic-cleric-passes-on.jpeg 720w, https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Catholic-cleric-passes-on-300x286.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/informante.web.na\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Catholic-cleric-passes-on-315x300.jpeg 315w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">HE IS NO MORE: Retired Catholic Deacon Desiderius Amayulu who passed on Monday.
